What is Aerobic Training?

Last week, we discussed functional resistance training and how to strengthen our muscles that we use on a daily basis. This week we’re diving into aerobic training which is also known as cardio or endurance training. Aerobic training is typically done at a lower intensity for a longer duration – movement like walking, running, jogging, swimming, biking, or rowing. These activities help strengthen our heart, our lungs, help our cardiovascular system pump blood more efficiently and allows our body to better adapt to stress.
