Physical Stress: What You Should Be Doing

In the last few weeks, we’ve talked about the chemical and emotional stressors that we all experience every day. Now it’s time to go over what we can do to limit the stress in our lives. Movement is essential. Did you know that only 20% of us have a movement routine? Aerobic activity such as running, swimming, dancing, or hiking are great ways to increase your heart rate and decrease your stress. We can even strengthen the movements we do every day like picking up our kids, walking, or reaching for the door through functional resistance training.
